What I know about you and Zucity (and what I'm guessing)
This page is built from public intel only, your website, what's said in the network-state space, and Donal's notes from our /meta-cognition-spec collab. Anything personal or strategic that Donal hasn't asked you directly isn't on here. If something looks wrong, it probably is, and I'd rather you correct it than I guess deeper.

Ecosystem partners
Lineage
Part of the Zuzalu-spawned network-state ecosystem (Zuzalu Montenegro 2026-04 was the genre-defining popup). Adjacent to Edge City, Cabin, Esmeralda. Zucity Japan is one of the few popups that's actually compounded into a sustainable platform rather than dispersing post-event.
Why Donal cares (relationship-asset frame)
- Friend first. You're well-connected in the digital-nomad / network-state / AI-builder space, and the /meta-cognition-spec collab landed cleanly enough that it changed how Donal structures agent specs.
- Coliving potential. Real possibility of Donal staying at a Zucity property at some stage (Karuizawa or Chiang Mai bridge weeks).
- Collab potential. A joint themed week ("AI Builder Week Karuizawa") is a natural fit. Mutual content / podcast collaborations sit in the same bucket.
- Long-tail trust / referral pathway. Zucity members who need AI sites, agent ops, or GEO work could route to OO as trust compounds. Reciprocal flow: OO retainer clients wanting a Japan retreat or builder week route to Zucity.
Things I'm guessing at, that I'd love you to correct
Open questions
- Your last name + canonical handle (X, LinkedIn, GitHub)
- Whether Zucity is solo or has cofounders (orb chrome currently says "Co-founder · Chiang Mai", adjust if wrong)
- What you're actively trying to grow vs maintain (so the wedge-offer page reflects what you actually want, not what's theoretically possible)
- What the revenue mix looks like today (membership vs accommodations affiliate vs themed-week sponsorships)
- Whether there's existing AI-tooling work at Zucity Donal should know about before suggesting modules
- Any existing partnerships Donal shouldn't tread on with the targeting / outreach page
- Prior conversations, mutual friends, first-meeting context worth pulling forward
Personal context on file is deliberately light. Public intel only, with Donal to enrich offline. The seven questions above are the priority gaps.
